A Meet & Greet with Your Muslim Neighbors

Women’s Auxiliary of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community hosted a Meet and Greet with your Muslim neighbors event at Patomac Library in Woodbridge on April 11, 2026.

The gathering was designed to create space for understanding, friendship, and open conversation. Guests explored a beautiful display featuring the Holy Qur’an in multiple translations, along with books and flyers about Islam and Ahmadiyya Muslim Community such as Pathway to Peace and The Life of Muhammad, peace be upon him. A Hijab try on station was set up as well.

Guests took the opportunity to learn about Islam Ahmadiyyat and about our local mosque. Throughout the event, visitors engaged in friendly conversations, tried on Hijabs, asked thoughtful questions, and shared meaningful dialogue.

Light snacks added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere, making it easy for everyone to connect. This simple gathering became a small but heartfelt step toward peace, understanding, and community.
