Some other highlights of the Interfaith Iftar: After recitation of the Holy Quran by Hafiz Usaid Virk, Zeeshan Ahmad, the local Public Affairs Director, welcomed attendees with an inspiring speech about the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community’s dedication to serving humanity, emphasizing the importance of love, compassion, and empathy.

The event continued with a presentation titled “Service & Ramadan,” which highlighted the core values of Ramadan as reflected in the the story of Masroor Mosque Food Pantry, which has provided over half a million meals since its inception during the pandemic, in collaboration with Humanity First USA.

A notable highlight of the evening was the panel discussion on “Service to Humanity,”. Esteemed panelists discussed the meaning of service in their fields and addressed pressing local needs.

Imam Salman Tariq delivered a profound keynote address, delving into the spiritual and practical dimensions of fasting during Ramadan. He emphasized fasting as a path to righteousness, gratitude, and empathy for those less fortunate.

Kareem Ullah Kaleem, President of Masroor Mosque’s Ahmadiyya Muslim Community chapter, concluded the event with a message of tolerance and unity. He highlighted religion’s role in fostering mutual respect and understanding, essential for a peaceful society.

The evening ended with a silent prayer led by Imam Salman Tariq, followed by the breaking of the fast and evening prayers. Attendees enjoyed a traditional Iftar dinner, where they mingled and shared stories, promoting deeper understanding and unity.

An exhibition showcasing 50 translations of the Holy Quran, along with informational displays, was well-received.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Masroor Mosque, Manassas hosted a Holy Qur’an Exhibition at the Rappahannock Regional Library, Porter Branch in #Stafford. The exhibition showcased 49 translations of the #HolyQuran, highlighting its universal message.

Educational posters on the life, character, and teachings of the Holy Prophet ⁦‪#Muhammad‬⁩ ﷺ and the core principles of ⁦‪#Islam‬⁩ were displayed to promote ⁦‪#interfaith‬⁩ understanding, respectful dialogue, and ⁦‪peace‬⁩, guided by the motto “Love for All, Hatred for None.”

Visitors were warmly welcomed with coffee and pizza, creating a friendly space for conversation and questions. We sincerely thank everyone who stopped by and engaged with us. We look forward to more events that strengthen community bonds. 🤍
